The FIM Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship (WorldWCR) is set to enter a bold new era from next season, with CFMOTO stepping in as the series’ sole motorcycle supplier on a three‑year deal covering 2027, 2028 and 2029. All riders will compete aboard the all‑new 675SR‑R — a three‑cylinder machine delivering more power and a fresh riding dynamic designed to push the championship to new heights.

New Machinery — More Power, New Challenge

At the heart of the change is the CFMOTO 675SR‑R, powered by a 675cc three‑cylinder engine that brings approximately 15 hp more than the platform used since the championship launched. The increase in performance is not just about straight‑line speed: the three‑cylinder configuration delivers distinct power and torque characteristics compared to the previous bikes, offering a different riding style, cornering rhythm and throttle response for every competitor to master.

The championship will retain its successful one‑make formula, meaning every rider will use identical specification machinery. Talent, racecraft and decision‑making will remain the decisive factors on track — the challenge has simply shifted to a higher‑performance machine that will stretch every rider’s ability and produce closer, more dynamic racing for fans.

Tyre Partnership Update — Michelin Joins Too

The arrival of CFMOTO coincides with another major upgrade for the series: Michelin will become WorldWCR’s exclusive tyre supplier from 2027 onwards. The combination of new, more powerful motorcycles and premium rubber is designed to deliver improved grip, better durability and consistent performance across race weekends, giving riders the confidence to push harder from the opening lap.

Global Reach — Strengthening Links and New Horizons

The partnership also deepens WorldWCR’s connections with China, supporting the championship’s long‑term ambition to grow its international audience and explore new venues across Asia and beyond. CFMOTO’s global footprint will help bring the series to wider attention, while the manufacturer’s commitment to motorsport development underpins the sport’s sustainable growth.

Gregorio Lavilla — WorldSBK Executive Director

“Since WorldWCR began, our ambition has been to create more opportunities and build strong competition. Continuing to raise the bar for the riders is a key part of that. The CFMOTO 675SR‑R gives our riders a more powerful motorcycle to master and a new challenge to help them develop, while retaining the equal technical conditions that make their ability count. We are pleased to welcome CFMOTO for the next three seasons and look forward to working together to develop WorldWCR on track and extend its international reach.”
