WorldSBK Championship Standings
Toprak Razgatlioglu (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) arrives at MotorLand Aragon with both momentum and a sizeable cushion at the top of the standings. The Turkish star has amassed 469 points from the opening nine rounds, giving him a 39-point edge over Nicolo Bulega (Aruba. It Racing – Ducati). With 186 points still available across the final stretch of the season, the title race is far from over, but Razgatlioglu holds the upper hand heading into one of the trickiest circuits on the calendar.
Behind the leading duo, Danilo Petrucci (Barni Spark Racing Team) occupies third place with 260 points, having delivered a consistent campaign that has kept him clear of the chasing pack. Andrea Locatelli (Pata Maxus Yamaha) is his nearest rival in fourth on 236 points, while defending champion Alvaro Bautista (Aruba. It Racing – Ducati) completes the current top five on 230.
Aragon: A Track That Has Eluded Razgatlioglu
Despite being on the hottest streak of his career — 12 consecutive wins and 18 straight podiums — Razgatlioglu has never stood on the top step at Aragon. The Spanish circuit, with its combination of long straights, heavy braking zones, and technical final sector, has often been a Ducati stronghold. Bautista, in particular, has taken two wins at Aragon in each of the past three seasons (2022, 2023, 2024), while Jonathan Rea (Pata Maxus Yamaha) also boasts nine career victories there, though his most recent came in 2022.
For Razgatlioglu, conquering Aragon would be more than just another victory — it would be proof that he has erased the few remaining gaps in his record. Second-placed Bulega also has yet to win at the track, meaning the weekend could deliver fresh storylines in the championship fight.
Records Within Reach
The BMW man is chasing history on multiple fronts. He is just two races shy of matching his career-best run of 20 consecutive podiums and one win away from equalling his own record of 13 straight victories, set in 2023.
Looking further ahead, Razgatlioglu still has a mathematical chance of matching Bautista’s all-time season record of 27 wins, set last year. To do so, however, he would need to win every remaining race of 2025. Aragon will also give him the chance to chase a fifth career “triple win” weekend — something he has managed four times before.
Manzi Faces First Shot at WorldSSP Title

Championship Picture
In WorldSSP, Stefano Manzi (Pata Yamaha Ten Kate Racing) holds the keys to the championship as he heads to Aragon with 344 points and a commanding 69-point lead over Can Oncu (Yamaha BLU CRU Evan Bros Team). After a dominant French Round, where he secured a double victory, the Italian now has his first mathematical chance to seal the crown.
If Manzi can outscore Oncu by 31 points across Race 1 and Race 2 in Spain, he will clinch the 2025 title with rounds to spare.
Behind the leading pair, the battle for third remains tight. Tom Booth-Amos (PTR Triumph Factory Racing) sits on 214 points, but Jaume Masia (Orelac Racing Verdnatura) is only 16 points adrift. Bo Bendsneyder (MV Agusta Reparto Corse) is also in striking distance, just 20 points off Booth-Amos in fifth.
Aragon History
Manzi has yet to win at MotorLand, though he did climb the podium twice there in 2024. Valentin Debise (Renzi Corse) also made the rostrum last season, proving that the venue can reward aggressive but calculated riding. Among the current grid, Lucas Mahias (GMT94 Yamaha) remains the only rider with a WorldSSP victory at Aragon, adding another layer of unpredictability to this weekend’s showdown.
Fernandez Leads WorldSSP300 Into Aragon Showdown

Championship Landscape
In WorldSSP300, the fight for supremacy remains wide open as the series heads to Aragon. Spain’s Benat Fernandez (Team#109 Retro Traffic Kove) leads the standings with 150 points after five rounds, though his margin is slender.
Just 11 points back is fellow Spaniard David Salvador (Team ProDina XCI), who sits on 139. Absent from the French Round, Julio Garcia (Prodina Kawasaki Racing Sport) retains third place with 133 points, 17 off the lead but still well within contention.
Behind them, former champion Jeffrey Buis (Freudenberg KTM-Paligo Racing) and rising star Carter Thompson (MTM Kawasaki) are tied on 125 points, ensuring the battle for the top five is closer than ever.
Past Performances at Aragon
Garcia and Dutch rider Loris Veneman (MTM Kawasaki) both stood on the podium at Aragon last year, while Buis has the strongest historical record at the venue with four previous victories — the most of any rider on the current grid. Veneman has also taken a win here, making the Spanish round a crucial test for the title contenders.
