The 2024 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship has moved from the UK to the Czech Republic for Round 6, promising an exciting weekend at the Autodrom Most. Riders discussed the season so far, future goals, and title aspirations.

Toprak Razgatlioglu (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team):
“My target is always to win, and this weekend, I’m aiming for three wins. We are looking at the Championship now. Initially, I just aimed for podiums, but winning races changed my perspective. If we don’t win the Championship, I won’t be happy because everyone is working hard.”

Jonathan Rea (Pata Prometeon Yamaha):
“Coming off a strong weekend at Donington, I’m hoping to maintain momentum at Most. It’s important to build confidence and perform consistently. We’ve made progress, but there’s more potential to unlock with both myself and the bike.”

Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati):
“This year is different from last, as we’re struggling with the bike. Our focus is on regaining the good feeling with the bike rather than aiming for specific results. Once we achieve that, we can think about the Championship.”

Alex Lowes (Kawasaki Racing Team WorldSBK):
“2024 is one of my best seasons. The goal is to fight at the front and get on the podium. This year’s Championship is stronger with many fast riders and teams. I’m in my best form, combining experience and speed.”

Danilo Petrucci (Barni Spark Racing Team):
“I’d like to be considered for a factory Ducati in 2025. I’m performing well with the Barni team, but the decision ultimately lies with Alvaro. I’m optimistic and have a strong relationship with Ducati.”

Iker Lecuona (Team HRC):
“We’re improving gradually but need bigger steps to catch up with other factories. Donington was challenging, and we expect another tough weekend at Most. Our goal is to make significant improvements.”

Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati):
“I’m proud to be second in the Championship during my rookie season. Most will be challenging, but I aim to improve in every session and reach the podium. Competing against strong riders like Toprak motivates me.”

Scott Redding (Bonovo Action BMW):
“I want to stay with BMW as I feel happy and content here. Donington was a confidence booster, and I hope to continue performing well at Most. Our goal is to be in the top five and compete for podiums.”

Andrea Iannone (Team GoEleven):
“Everything is open, and I haven’t signed with anyone yet. This year is about doing my best after a long break. Donington showed good speed but had challenges. I’m focusing on getting the best feeling at Most.”

These riders’ insights reflect their determination, challenges, and aspirations as they compete in the 2024 season.
