However, challenges arose due to overnight rain and morning mist, delaying the schedule until the afternoon. The Newcomers’ speed controlled lap initiated the action, followed by untimed sessions for various classes. Despite some setbacks, including Dunlop’s stop at Greeba, the qualifying session commenced at 6.05pm, with the Supertwin/Supersport class taking the lead once more.

Dean Harrison and Josh Brookes spearheaded the charge, with Harrison ultimately seizing the top spot with a speed of 123.869mph. However, Todd soon claimed the lead with a remarkable lap of 124.162mph, closely followed by Hickman and Dunlop. Notably, surprise contender James Hind emerged victorious with an impressive lap of 124.190mph.

In the subsequent session, Todd further demonstrated his prowess, elevating his speed to 125.601mph. Hickman and Dunlop maintained their competitive edge, securing impressive lap times alongside other notable contenders.
