Glenn Irwin shattered his previous unofficial lap record to secure pole position for all three Superbike races at the North West 200.

Clocking in at 14:16.433 with an impressive average speed of 125.928 mph, the PBM Ducati rider outpaced competitors Davey Todd and Michael Dunlop.

While Irwin’s exceptional performance earns him the top spot for the Superbike races starting Thursday evening, it’s worth noting that his lap record remains unofficial as it was set during a practice session.

Following the Superbike opener, the first Supersport and Superstock races will take place.
