Ryota Haga, Son of Noriyuki Haga, Dies in Racing Accident in Japan
Yamaha has confirmed the tragic death of Ryota Haga, son of renowned rider Noriyuki Haga, in a motorcycle racing accident in Japan.
“Devastating news from the All Japan Road Race Championship today about Ryota Haga, son of Noriyuki,” Yamaha stated. “We send our sincerest condolences to the Haga family in these most tragic circumstances.”
Ryota, who was just 21 years old, was competing in the Japanese Supersport 600 Championship, following in his father’s footsteps. He was the youngest son of Noriyuki Haga, a former World Superbike, MotoGP, and British Superbike rider.
