Martin confirms Americas GP absence

Jorge Martin (Aprilia Racing) made a special guest appearance at Thursday’s Press Conference for the Argentina GP, joining live from Spain to update fans on his recovery and potential return to racing.

“I’m really happy to be here today. Hello to Pecco, Marc, and Alex. Right now, I’m really struggling—it’s just not my time yet. I’m working hard to recover as quickly as I can, but I can confirm that I won’t be racing in Austin. I’d love to be there, but it’s not happening, and I’m not sure about Qatar either—it’s still too early to tell,” he explained.

“I’d like to get in some tests before I come back because I’m not feeling my best, and I know Massimo is working on a plan. So, we’ll see what we can do.”

Martin added with a touch of humor, “It’s hard to watch from home, but I’ll be following the race this weekend very closely. I’m cheering for Aprilia and hope they can get even closer to the podium. Honestly, it’s a bit boring without me on track, but I’m sure these guys will put on a fantastic show. I’ll be watching from home and am looking forward to enjoying the race!”
