Quartararo & Morbidelli touch down at Yamaha Motor India

On Wednesday, Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP™ riders Fabio Quartararo and Franco Morbidelli headed for Yamaha Motor India in Delhi. Meeting the staff there and taking to the stage to enjoy the warmest of welcomes, the duo kicked off their Indian adventure in style, and in a key market for the motorcycle sector. Here’s a few words from both ahead of the inaugural Indian GP!

Fabio Quartararo: “It’s my first time here in India and it was great to see everyone here at Yamaha India. It was a warm welcome and hopefully we can make them happy on the racetrack!
“Looking at the layout it’s not the best for us with a lot of accelerations and straights, but we just have to do our best, this is what I’ve said for half the season… giving my 100%, just trying to work as hard as possible to find a solution as fast as possible.”
Franco Morbidelli: “It’s beautiful to come here and get in contact with the people who work for Yamaha. It was beautiful t see all their faces, and their happiness in meeting us. It was a great exchange.
“I’m really looking forward to getting out on track, the layout looks really nice! Let’s see how the track is going to be, and there’s a question mark on the weather if it’s going to rain. But I’m very curious and looking forward to getting out on track.”
