In an absolutely thrilling qualifying session at Donington Park, motorcycle racing fans were treated to an outstanding display of skill and speed by Jason O’Halloran aboard the McAMS Yamaha. Jason’s incredible performance earned him the pole position in the eBay Qualifying round and marked the fastest-ever lap in the history of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship at this iconic circuit. It’s safe to say that we’re in for an exhilarating showdown during the BikeSocial Sprint Race later today.

Jason’s jaw-dropping lap put him a mere 0.142 seconds ahead of his closest competitor, Tommy Bridewell, who was riding the BeerMonster Ducati. Making the competition even more exciting, the front row featured a diverse lineup of riders from different motorcycle manufacturers, with Leon Haslam completing this impressive trio.

Yesterday’s pace-setter, Kyle Ryde, secured the fourth position on the grid, riding the LAMI OMG Racing Yamaha, just narrowly ahead of his teammate Ryan Vickers and the championship leader, Glenn Irwin.

In a remarkable debut, Niccolò Canepa impressed by taking the seventh spot on the grid while piloting the second McAMS Yamaha. Meanwhile, Peter Hickman’s performance earned him a place on the second row. Charlie Nesbitt and Lee Jackson completed the top ten, promising a day filled with thrilling racing action at Donington Park. Get ready for some heart-pounding moments on the track!
