British Superbike Championship Round 6 at Brands Hatch

Race 1 Highlights:

Ryan Vickers Dominates from Pole for Victory:

Ryan Vickers (OMG Grilla Yamaha): Vickers led from pole position into the first corner and quickly built a significant lead, ultimately taking the win. After Danny Kent crashed out early, Vickers maintained a series of fast laps, staying in the 1m25s range until the penultimate lap. He finished with a comfortable lead of 7.334 seconds, securing his third win of the season and fifth career BSB victory.
Chasing Group:
Glenn Irwin and Tommy Bridewell initially attempted to catch Vickers but were unsuccessful.
Christian Iddon quickly moved up from ninth on the grid to join the battle for the podium.
Andrew Irwin closed in from eleventh, eventually overtaking both Bridewell and Glenn Irwin in a bold move before Bridewell reclaimed his position.
Emotional Dedication: Tommy Bridewell, racing under emotional circumstances, dedicated his performance to his late brother Ollie on the 17th anniversary of his death.

Glenn Irwin finished just off the podium in fourth, with Christian Iddon rounding out the top five.
Late Race Action:
Kyle Ryde (OMG Grilla Yamaha) made a late comeback to finish sixth, passing Leon Haslam (ROKiT BMW Motorrad) on the penultimate lap. Haslam finished seventh.
Lee Jackson (MasterMac Honda) finished eighth, just ahead of Jason O’Halloran (Completely Motorbikes Kawasaki).
Top Ten and Beyond:
Danny Buchan (DAO Racing Kawasaki) improved significantly to finish tenth.
Josh Brookes (FHO Racing), despite starting fourth, faded to eleventh.
Max Cook (Completely Motorbikes Kawasaki) moved up from 20th to twelfth.
Luke Hedger (Whitecliffe CDH Racing Kawasaki) finished thirteenth, ahead of Billy McConnell (Look Forward Racing).
Peter Hickman (FHO Racing) rallied to claim the final point in fifteenth.
Close Contests:
Alex Olsen (Honda) finished 17th, narrowly ahead of Lewis Rollo (Aprilia).
