Jason O’Halloran secured his maiden eBay Qualifying Pole Position of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship season at Snetterton this afternoon. The talented rider showcased his skills by claiming the top spot on the timesheets, with Glenn Irwin of BeerMonster Ducati separating him from his teammate. Tito Rabat made an impressive debut with the team, securing a spot on the front row.

O’Halloran quickly established his dominance in the final session, setting the pace early on. Although Irwin made a valiant effort to challenge him, it wasn’t enough to surpass the BeerMonster Ducati rider by the time the chequered flag waved. As a result, McAMS Yamaha emerged as the leading team, poised for success in the upcoming BikeSocial Sprint Race.

Rabat achieved a significant milestone in his Bennetts BSB career by earning a front row start. After progressing through the eBay Qualifying 1, the former Moto2 World Champion showcased his potential. Despite being relatively new to Snetterton, having only made his first appearance at the circuit during yesterday’s Free Practice, Rabat displayed commendable performance.

Leading the second row of the grid in fourth position is championship leader Tommy Bridewell, riding the second BeerMonster Ducati. The experienced rider is followed closely by previous champions Josh Brookes and Leon Haslam, completing the second row with their strong performances.

Charlie Nesbitt had an impressive session, securing seventh position for the MasterMac Honda by Hawk Racing Team. Rounding out row three are Danny Kent and Jack Kennedy, while Danny Buchan claimed the final spot in the top ten for SYNETIQ BMW
